HERA Funds Could Reduce Foreclosures and Rebuild Distressed Neighborhoods

The Center does ongoing research on housing in Indiana and issues that affect local communities. This issue brief focuses on the Housing and Economic Recovery Act of 2008. This bill has provisions that will offer opportunities for state and local governments to strategically curb foreclosure growth and repair the damage from foreclosures in distressed communities.
